Warranty Policy

While our toilets are very reliable there can occasionally be issues, its key that we are here to help and below you will find all the information as to how your toilet`s 12 month warranty will work.

It important to note that these toilets have moving parts, nozzles, hinges, motors etc and these only really will break with misuse, these parts are not covered by the warranty.

We operate a manufacturers warranty, what that means is the warranty isn`t with us as the retailer it`s with the manufacturer.

So what happens if something goes wrong? Here is a step by step guide:

1) Email us on info@japanese-toilets.co.uk with a full description of what has happened and include images and videos showing the problem clearly.

2) We will assess the information and advise you this will be to either provide you with the manufacturers information or advise you otherwise.

3) You can then contact the manufacturer directly and you can get the issue resolved, this will usually mean the shipment of spare parts which will require fitment to solve the issue or a new seat if it`s multiple issue.

4) There will be no circumstances where a used toilet can be shipped to either us or the manufacturer for repair, this is due to quite obvious hygiene contamination issues.

Ultimately if there can be no solution to an issue and regardless of the toilets age we will intervene at a point and offer you the customer a substantial discount on a new toilet to solve the issue.
